The Old Man and the Sea

I love these intimate photos from Manjari Sharma's shower series.  She captures such different emotions and human desires in each of these photos - remorse, dejection, a need for catharsis, redemption.

I love her other water series too. Sharma comes out of the shower and pans out 100x to show man's relation to nature and the landscape around him.  I love how the enormity of the ocean seems to swallow the man up, and reduces him into a mere stick figure. There's a lonely (and noble?) quality to these photos I like quite a bit.
