When I was in high school, I used to print out a weekly column by a woman named Amy Krouse Rosenthal and tape it to my binders and make my friends read it. I admired and related to her way of seeing the world's most ordinary things with childlike wonderment. Since then, she's come out with a number of books, including this great one. She also began a project called "The Beckoning of Lovely" project, which she kicked off in great poetic fashion two summers ago.
She celebrated the one year-ish anniversary of that day a little more quietly.
Pretty awesome.
